Working with my buddy to measure...

• around the wrist
• around the waist
• length of hand
• length of arm
• length of foot
• around the chest
• across the chest
• around the ankle
• across the back
• length of leg

Now compare the difference in centimetres between you and your buddy.  What is the difference?  Why are they different/or the same?

Ash Wednesday - The Beginning of Lent

Waitangi Day - Our Special Day

Kia ora whanau.  Haere mai Waitangi Day.  At the beginning of the school year, the tamariki knew very little about the importance of Waitangi Day.  They asked questions and read several stories about the importance of this day.  By the end of the first week, their understanding was much greater.  Ka pai to mahi tamariki ma.

Hauora

Tena koutou katoa.  Nau mai haere mai.  Greetings to you all and welcome back!  Our concept for this term is 'Hauora.'  I'm really looking forward to meeting you all and having loads of discovery, discussion and fun learning experiences.  Kia ora tatou.
