What do these Whakatauki (Maori Proverbs) mean to you?

Rugby World Cup 2015

'Wheels Day'

Yesterday, the children brought to school their bikes, skateboards, scooters, and rollerblades.  This was part of the school wide ‘Movement’ immersion week.  The children enjoyed racing around the bike track and showing their skills on the courts.  Below are just a few shots of Karaka and Puriri Whanau children having a great time 'moving!'

Holiday Photos

Last week, I flew down to Dunedin to watch Jyden play for the Northland Under 15 Hockey side at the national hockey tournament.  The team came 4th overall.  This was the first time any Under 15 Northland team has ever made the top four.  A fantastic effort, and one that Northland should be extremely proud of.  In between games, I got the chance to visit the Cadbury Chocolate Factory, several museums, and sample some of the local liquid refreshments.  Before I left for Dunedin, Kalym and Josh went to 'Climbing Zone' in Auckland.  They had so much fun!!!  Below are some of the highlights of the trip to the Mainland and Auckland.  Enjoy!!!
