My Time at Outward Bound

In the first week of the school holidays, I spent eight days in the Marlborough Sounds, with 10 other teachers from around New Zealand.  We were enrolled in the 'Teacher's Discovery Course.'  It was an amazing opportunity to experience an holistic approach to learning in an outdoor environment.  Outward Bound involves participating in a variety of activities that require physical, mental and emotional engagements.  Below are just some of the activities I experienced.
