Know Water Education
Did you know that...
1. Less than 1% of freshwater available for humans use, about 70% goes toward growing food and raising animals?
2. 2% of freshwater is trapped deep in the earth or frozen as ice and glaciers?
3. Less than 1% of the earth's water is fresh and available in rivers, lakes and groundwater?
Teresa, from 'Zero Waste Education' spoke to us about water conservation and sustainability. We learned about the importance of water for human and animal consumption, and ways we can keep it clean. There are 3 actions we can do at home to help sustain water, these include: turning off taps, use eco-friendly products, and making sure we don't pollute our lawns and pasture. Enjoy the posters....
