Last Friday, our school celebrated the Feast of All Saints which is a Holy Day of the Church, honouring all Saints known and unknown. The saints we think about today include not only all canonised or well-known ones, but also all who are praising God in heaven. While there are a great many of them, we particularly remember the ones our school is founded from. The Feast of All Souls follows All Saints day and reminds us of those who die in God’s faith and friendship. All Souls is the day to remember, pray for, and offer liturgy for our family and friends who are no longer with us. Our parish family celebrated this feast day yesterday with several masses during the day. Thanks Kauri whanau for putting together an awesome liturgy - tino pai!!!
