We have been lucky enough to receive cricket coaching from some Northland senior cricketers. Stephen Cunis and the "Educare North Coaching Team" have been showing us how to catch, throw and bowl a ball correctly. Our next session is on the correct technique for batting. All the children have enjoyed the sessions so far. The lessons are based on both skill and through using a 'games sense' approach. Thanks guys for demonstrating to us the necessary skills to play cricket and help develop a love for the game. Who knows... there might be a future Black Cap or White Fern among the class!
