For the first few weeks of term three we learnt about 'zero waste.' We learnt about ways we can care for our environment and promote sustainability. At the end of the unit, we got to make a pencil holder from a recycled can and from some 'bits and pieces.' Here are some images of our tin cans. We had a messy yet creative afternoon. 
Room 11, your new blog is looking really cool. I just love the creatures that you have made from recycled tin cans. It looks like you are all having lots of fun, learning some important concepts, and being clean green Kiwis all at once. Well done!
