Soccer with Owen
Owen, the man who spoke in a funny language (only joking), came to our school to teach us some football skills. We learnt different 'invasion games' and also how to work as a team. He made the lessons enjoyable and taught us some simple skills we can use in other sports. Thanks Owen for your time.
Future Olympic Swimmers
For the past four weeks, Room 15 have been attending swimming lessons at the town pools. We have made huge improvements in our swimming strokes and overall confidence in the water. We have also had lots of fun with our mates!!! A special thank you to all our amazing parents/caregivers and grandparents who came to support us and helped Mr Werder. Your help was much appreciated.

The Extreme Metal Detector (Fonterra Science Roadshow)
I was so amazed by the metal detector it actually did work. There the metal detector stopped dead just like that! It obviously had meant that I had found the metal silver treasure that I had been looking for almost forever. After I had finished, I decided to go on the chair hoist but it took forever because of the long queue. Finally, it was my turn, but it took forever to get to the top because the piece of metal was so long that my hands started to hurt so bad but I decided to carry on anyway. It was one of the hardest things I went on but in the end it was worth it. Well..at least I think it was!
